Through the Echoes of the pandemic a sensory overload has affected how we interact, after almost two year of isolation and the fear to connect with others and getting too close could mean getting or making someone sick.

This painting is that space in time where the emptiness of a solitary beach where someone could just walk through the pier, get closer to the water, listening carefully to the frogs croak happy as they eat mosquitoes, where the sun and the moon are sharing a conversation, one saying good morning and the other answering goodnight. And when we breathe and realize we are where we need to be in that precise moment, and we feel a sense of serenity, calmness, and belonging that we have been missing for so long.
