Touched by Sun and Water (currently at Sooke Art Gallery- March 2024)

This piece tells the story from the latched weathered wooden pillars on the beach. They bear witness of uncountable laughter, solitary deep in thoughts walks by the shore, many lovers’ caresses under the moon and a million of children playing in the sand under the sun. The colours are joyful and yet conservative. The details on each piece of lumber mark story after story not as an inanimate object but as a participant in the moment. The texture of each wooden post becomes of focus and protagonist of this story. A tale within the story.
