In Where Heaven Begins, I wanted to capture that rare kind of stillness where the world feels suspended between earth and something beyond it.
Soft layers of fog drift quietly through the landscape while silhouetted trees rise gently toward the sky, almost dissolving into light. The clouds part slowly, revealing subtle movement and openness above — not dramatic, but peaceful. The kind of moment that makes everything around you suddenly feel quieter.
While creating this piece, I kept thinking about how certain places in nature can feel deeply spiritual without needing explanation. A break in the clouds. Morning mist settling over the trees. The silence that arrives just before sunrise. Moments where light itself feels comforting, as though something greater is present within it.
This painting speaks about faith through atmosphere rather than symbols. It became a reflection on peace, hope, and the invisible connection between the natural world and the emotional spaces we carry within ourselves.
Gentle movement, layered texture, and soft shifting light invite the viewer into a moment of pause — a space to breathe, reflect, and simply be still.
