This painting became a reflection on uncertainty — those rare moments in life when everything briefly slows down and we stop long enough to question our own perspective.
There are moments when certainty begins to dissolve. Moments where the version of events we’ve held onto so tightly suddenly feels less fixed, less absolute. While creating this piece, I kept thinking about how quickly we move through life convinced we understand where we stand, only to realize that someone on the other side may be asking themselves the very same questions.
For me, this work is about that fragile space between conviction and empathy — the quiet realization that truth is often shaped by memory, emotion, fear, and experience. It captures the emotional pause between opposing perspectives, where judgment softens and curiosity begins to emerge.
The atmosphere within the painting reflects that emotional tension: calm yet unsettled, open yet uncertain. Layers of texture, movement, and light mirror the complexity of human perception and the shifting nature of understanding itself.
Rather than offering answers, this piece invites reflection.
A moment to stop running.
A moment to question.
A moment to wonder what the world might look like from the other side.
