Through the water, Seagulls ~ Currently at Sooke Art Gallery - March 2024

This painting elates me. I love the feeling of peace and balance that evokes in me. Perhaps even ethereal. Where the world of angels and our world have found a portal and celestial beings can be around us not in their physical form but as an overwhelming presence of pure goodness. In the light, in the wings of a seagull, in their singing echoing through the soft ripples of waves. A place where nature and beliefs coexist, and spirituality is almost tangible. Rays of sun or perhaps caresses of divinity decorate the skies of this artwork, reuniting the viewer with our beautiful world and its magnificence, in the holy-like scenery. Bathed in all tones of blues mixed with soft magenta.
